The fibre and fabric composition of the saree.
Weave
How the saree was constructed and the quality of the weave.
Zari
Type, density and condition of any zari work.
Craftsmanship
Motif, border and pallu detailing.
Age
Approximate age where it can reasonably be determined.
Condition
Wear, staining, tears and zari wear.
Provenance
Known history or documentation, where available.
Photographs vs. Physical Inspection
Photographs allow an initial review, but a physical inspection may be needed to confirm certain details before any final decision.
What Seller Should Provide
Clear photographs, notes on known history, and honest disclosure of any damage all help produce a more accurate initial assessment.
